Google can’t get enough! They seem to truly enjoy invading peoples privacy online and offline. Google’s new map product Street View, at first glance,  is a super cool feature to one of the best online map systems available. Yet, if you browse around you will see some really embassasing and compromising situations that Google flaunts to the Internet audience. As you can well imagine, as you travel down a city street, you are liable to see almost anything. Anyone could be caught in a compromising position. Does Google have the right to invade a person’s privacy like that? Did Google get signed releases from everyone they depict in their images?

What do you think about the new Google Street View? Leave a comment and get some link love!!

I added here the best Google Street View.

Thanks for your comment. I just visited your website and this is EXACTLY what I am referring too. Has Google gone overboard this time?

You make a very valid point! There was one picture of a guy walking out of a Strip Club in the broad daylight … and it was dugg … poor guy!

I just think that Google should have used some discretion when posting people’s images on their Maps interface. It’s not like Google Maps is a small website or has limited viewership. There is a very good chance that that guy’s wife (if he has one) or his employer will see that picture.
